Understanding user roles

Twin Docs uses three user roles to control what members can do within your organization. Roles are assigned when you invite a member.

Role What they can do
Organization Owner Full access — manage billing, organization settings, members, and all documents
Document Editor Create, edit, and comment on documents
Document User View documents and leave comments

Good to know

  • Only Organization Owners can manage billing and organization settings.
  • To change someone's role, go to Organization → Members and update it from there.
